Sakai on-board ExactCompact system

According to Sakai, its on-board ExactCompact system makes it easy for the operator to maintain impact spacing (on the run) when compacting hot-mix asphalt. The system employs a series of lights that are located conveniently at the operator's station, says Sakai, and a simple push-button control enables the operator to preset the desired target figure, anywhere between eight and 20 impacts per foot. When the roller is powered up, the previously stored impact spacing appears on the display and may be reset as necessary to suit job specifications.
