Morbark Tub Grinders

Morbark's range of six tub grinders encompasses units from the 157-hp Model 950, to the Model 1500 with 1,050 horsepower. The Model 1200XL, shown here, has horsepower choices ranging from 600 to 760, from either Caterpillar or Cummins, and features a direct-drive system for the hammer mill with a torque-limiting mechanism that protects against shock loads. Weighing 63,940 pounds, the 1200XL has a hammer-mill opening of 32×52 inches and uses a dual-auger-to-belt discharge system. A tub cover for debris containment is standard equipment.
