A choice of lithium-ion battery power sources provides the new Milwaukee M18 cordless half-inch hammer drill / driver with two maximum torque capabilities. Featuring a four-pole frameless motor, the hammer drill / driver delivers 500 foot-pounds of peak torque with the M18 XC high-capacity lithium-ion battery and 450 foot-pounds of peak torque with the M18 compact lithium-ion battery. The newest tool addition as part of the Milwaukee M18 lithium-ion system, the hammer drill / driver is claimed to be up to 20-percent faster in concrete than competitive models.
