Miller-Bradford Offers Biodiesel-Ready Construction Equipment

September 28, 2010

Miller-Bradford & Risberg has announced that B20 biodiesel fuel blends have been approved for more than 85 percent of the Case construction equipment line it handles.

B20 blends are composed of 20-percent biodiesel fuel and 80-percent petroleum diesel fuel.

Biodiesel is produced from vegetable oils or animal fat and mixed with standard petroleum diesel. The blended fuel produces lower particulate emissions.

“Biodiesel should be purchased from a trusted supplier who understands the product and maintains good product quality,” says Ray Good, engine application manager, Case Construction Equipment. “Case recommends that you only use biodiesel from BQ 9000 accredited suppliers to maintain the quality and the consistency of the fuel.”
