Low Load Angle on Deck

Sept. 28, 2010

The wheels on the Trail King Advantage Series Sliding Axle trailer can move forward 212 inches, which allows the deck to tilt down and create a 61/2-degree load angle. That low angle makes the trailer ideal for loading low-profile, difficult-to-load equipment such as pavers. A new hydraulic cylinder system eliminates the need for traveling hydraulic lines, and the cylinders can lift the deck to a 15-degree dump angle. Trail King says its I-beams are constructed of one-piece web and flange material and welded on all four sides to seal and protect the seams from rust. Estimated list price: $41,000 to $46,000.
