The B-Air 185-12’s permanent magnet motor automatically adjusts the motor speed to match air demand, increasing the energy efficiency to 70 percent. The unit needs to be serviced every 2,000 hours instead of a diesel-powered unit’s 500 hours.
The compressor can handle extreme weather conditions ranging from 113 degrees to -13 degrees, and heights up to 14,764 ft above sea level.
