Kubota KX161-3 tight-tail-swing compact excavator

Sept. 28, 2010

The KX161-3 tight-tail-swing compact excavator features a load sensing system and an exclusive Auto Idle System. The tail section projects 4.75 inches beyond the width of the tracks while still maintaining the stability of a conventional tail swing. A new rubber-track design with large, V-shaped lugs improves traction and limits damage to sensitive surfaces. Its two pattern selection system allows the operator to change pilot controls by shifting the lever beneath the right console. It has a new cab/canopy that contributes to operator comfort and protection.
