Tips for cleaning rubber tracks and undercarriage:
1. Use a pressure washer to clean out most of the dirt. When a pressure washer is not available or is ineffective, a bar or shovel works well. Also, a screwdriver is usually able to push out dirt accumulating inside the drive-hub holes.
2. Check the condition of the rubber tracks before each use, make sure that wires are not protruding, and that the tracks are properly aligned.
3. Sprocket rollers should be inspected and cleaned every 50 hours. When working in abrasive conditions, such as sand, increase the frequency of inspections.
