VIDEO: Equipment Training Program Expands in Indiana

The Prosser Career Education Center in New Albany, Indiana, is expanding its Heavy Equipment Operator Program.

The education center is partnering with Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and MAC Construction to build a new facility to better facilitate learning for the student. The program is one of 28 different programs at the school for students at more than two dozen high schools across six Southern Indiana counties, WAVE reports.

One goal of the new Heavy Equipment Training Center is to eliminate factors like weather from the training curriculum.
