Pittsburgh Bridge Collapse Replacement Completed in Just 10 Months

The Fern Hollow Bridge replacement project in the city of Pittsburgh will be completed in 10 months instead of the normal three years, thanks to a focus on the supply chain and collaboration.

New Civil Engineer reports the new bridge will also feature improved facilities for pedestrians and cyclists. The bridge will replace the structure that collapsed on January 28, injuring 10 people.
