How a Pandemic Response Plan Improved Construction Safety

Nicole Ivers explained how Batson-Cook Construction met the pandemic head on when it arose, preparing for the worst, she said in a presentation made at the American Society of Safety Professionals’ Safety 2021 Conference and Expo.

As reported on BusinessInsurance.com, executives at the construction firm expected all construction to stop. Ivers recounted what worked and what didn’t in the company’s response.

Overall, according to the report, she said the company’s “resiliency” was strengthened and the company’s program for health and safety was improved.
