Feds Give $25M for Pittsburgh Bridge Rebuild

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that the U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded a $25.3 million grant to help rebuild the collapsed Fern Hollow Bridge in Pittsburgh.

The grant comes via the National Highway Performance Program, according to the report, and any money not spent on the bridge repair could be used for other projects.

The report also includes an update on the process by which the bridge will be rebuilt, including potential supply-chain problems for steel beams.
