The Construction Professionals Network of North Carolina (CPN) awarded three scholarships to students in North Carolina universities who are studying for careers in construction or related fields. The scholarship winners were Kyle Coble, a rising junior majoring in construction management at Western Carolina University; Joel Yow, a senior majoring in architecture at the University of North Carolina — Charlotte; and Daniel Mays, a rising senior majoring in civil engineering at N.C. State University in Raleigh.
The three scholarships, funded by CPN members and managed by the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, have been awarded annually for the past seven years and provide $2,000 to each recipient. Applicants must be in their junior or senior year of a construction management, architecture or engineering degree at a North Carolina university.
