The five-axle GMK5150 and GMK5150L all-terrain cranes replace the GMK5130-2 and GMK5110-1, respectively, and have capacities of 150 tonnes. The GMK5150L has a 60-meter boom, and the GMK5150 a 51-meter boom. Maximum counterweight for both is 45 tonnes, which enables them to increase their load chart by 20 percent over the GMK5130-2.

The GMK5150L has a capacity of 11.6 tonnes with the boom fully extended. Both units have an 180-meter bi-fold, swingaway jib that can be extended with an 8-meter boom extension and 8-meter jib extension for a total jib length of 34 meters.

A single engine powers the cranes, reducing their overall weight and allowing them to carry more counterweight. The Tier 4-Final Mercedes-Benz OM471LA is rated at 523 horsepower at 1,700 rpm. The cranes have 16-inch tires and an overall width of 2.75 meters.
