Over the past month, here are a few highlights of what we've observed:

January 2015 in Review

Construction: Volume increased nearly 10% in January but was not enough to stifle prices, which rose by an average of 2.7% month over month.

Lift trucks: As the volume decreased for most of the country, the southwest region showed an increase, which could be due to the fact that they have a milder winter than the rest of the US.

Agriculture: Sales volume and average prices both rose from December to January, with volume gains heavily concentrated in the Eastern US.

On-highway truck Commercial truck volume showed more positive change during January for a number of states after a slow end of the 2014 calendar year, resulting in a smaller price variance throughout the US.
