By lowering the friction in bearings and other sliding metal surfaces within internal combustion engines, the GO-15 metal-surface conditioning treatment not only improves fuel consumption for construction equipment and trucks, but reduces their carbon footprint and lowers emissions, says manufacturer Engineous USA Inc. When added to lube oil in engines, manual transmissions, differentials, hubs and power-steering systems, GO-15 bonds with the metal to create a smooth surface. It can be used with all petroleum-based and synthetic oils, and works equally with diesel or gas engines. It does not contain Teflon, fluorocarbons, lead, silicone or molybdenum.
