Trading on its 25 years of experience building hydrostatic wheel loaders, the company claims its drive systems reduce fuel consumption as much as 25 percent, compared to mechanical-drive machines; reduce tire wear by 25 percent; and experience virtually no brake wear. It is powered by a 340-horsepower (at 1,800 rpm) Liebherr D 936 L engine, a significant reduction in horsepower for this class of loaders due to the hydrostatic drive. The 71,838-pound unit wields a standard 7.8-cubic-yard bucket.
