Powered by a new 26-net-hp Yanmar 3TNV88 diesel engine, the 27D has a new “long-arm and counterweight” option that increases digging depth to 9 feet 7 inches (compared to the standard machine’s 8 feet 7 inches) and increases operating weight by about 450 pounds.
