Ditch Witch FX60

Sept. 28, 2010

Billed as the quietest vacuum excavator in its class, the FX60 system combines "soft" excavation capabilities and increased vacuum power in a trailer- or skid-mounted unit. For excavating, soils are displaced by water at pressures to 3,500 psi. With its 56-hp diesel engine, the unit's belt-driven blower develops maximum airflow of 900 cfm at 16 inches of mercury for vacuuming. Water supply for excavation is contained in two tanks with a total capacity of 500 gallons, and the debris tank holds 1,200 gallons.
