In the interest of keeping selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems free of contamination, which can jeopardize the system’s sensitive (and expensive) catalyst, the DEFBooty can be installed over the filler cap for the SCR system’s diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) tank.

The disposable DEFBooty, secured with an attached elastic band, forms a cover and apron over the cap and adjacent area to reduce the risk of dust and debris entering the tank during refilling. The DEFBooty is available online at www.defbooty.com.
