The Denver Post reports that an estimate for work on Interstate 70 called the Floyd Hill project has increased from $700 million to $800 million.
The report cites materials prices, supply chain disruptions, and labor shortages.
The Colorado Department of Transportation is considering pulling back on the project’s scope in order to stay in budget.
