With a standard operating weight of 9,150 pounds and powered with a Tier 4-Interim, 42-horsepower Cat C2.4 engine, the Cat 903C compact wheel loader has Z-bar loader linkage, hydrostatic drive, maintenance-free propeller shafts and universal joints, and oscillating axles with planetary reduction and available differential locks. The cab features dual entry doors with sliding windows, tilting steering column, low-effort hydraulic controls, and an available HVAC system. A canopy option will be available first quarter 2015. Optional external counterweights increase lift capacity, and three tire choices—including a puncture-proof type—help tailor the machine to the site and application, says Caterpillar.
