    Callander calls its Slidehammer a “hand-operated jackhammer.” The 13-pound tool comes with four interchangeable bits — point, chisel, broad chisel and tamper — that add 12 to 15 pounds to the tool’s weight. Tests show that the 6-foot Slidehammer, with 24-inch stroke, can deliver up to 10 times the impact of a conventional crowbar.

Tests show that the 6-foot Slidehammer, with 24-inch stroke, can deliver up to 10 times the impact of a conventional crowbar. Callander says its Slidehammer is great for cutting rebar and breaking concrete to expose pipe work or cabling, or anywhere you need a precision tool that does its job quietly.
