Brown and Yale To Build Two Buildings

Brown University and Yale University have hired Shawmut Design and Construction, along with Stern Architects, to complete two buildings on the historic Ivy League campuses. Yale University in New Haven, CT, is putting in a building to support internationally focused programs, as well as to provide a permanent location for professional events. This project is expected to be completed in May 2009 and is on target for LEED® Gold Certification.

Brown University in Providence, RI, is putting in a fitness center that will cover 85,000 square feet on the site of their original Smith Swim Center. This project is expected to be completed in October 2010.
