Barber Model 200 Road Rake removes debris from roadways as it's towed by a 1-ton truck or larger. Caster tires follow the pavement's contour, and stainless steel tines mounted in offset rows "rake" the surface. Debris passes under a flap to a moldboard that traps it and allows the tines to lift and move it on a powered bar conveyor. Conveyor elevates debris to a 4 cubic-yard hopper. Two rotating gutter brooms increase cleaning width and sweep debris away from obstacles and in front of the rake. Unit can clean up to 18 mph, be transported at 55 mph, and weighs 6,460 lb.
