Improved High Velocity Dual-Flow lube filters for Cummins ISM, ISX and Series 600 engines provide increased protection during high idle times and extended service intervals. The filter's full-flow area provides structural strength and retains flow-through capabilities. The filter's by-pass area is designed to create a low-pressure zone, which pulls filtered oil from the full-flow area and carries it through the bypass area, where cellulose material removes small contaminants. It has one inlet and one outlet, and oil flows to the filter's base and goes directly into the engine.
