At a service weight of 68 pounds, the borer delivers 332 foot-pounds of torque at 2,030 psi, and provides adjustable rotation speeds of between 80 and 200 rpm. It accepts hydraulic oil flow of 5.3 to 15.9 gallons per minute to a maximum working pressure of 2,320 psi. With diameters ranging 3.5 to 13.5 inches, six augers with interchangeable bits and tips are available for the borer, which mounts directly onto the carrier’s shovel or arm, or under an attached top plate for quick-release couplings. An extension rod enables the LPHB-M to achieve a maximum digging depth of 4.9 feet.
