American Augers DD-Million-Eighty

DD-Million-Eighty has a thrust/pullback rating of 1,080,000 pounds. That power is complemented by the machine's rotary-torque capacity, 100,000 pounds-feet, which gives the machine the capability to easily turn large reamers in long bores. This large unit is powered by a Cat diesel engine developing 1,500 horsepower, and it uses a four-pinion rack-and-pinion carriage-drive system. Among the machine's proprietary features are its Floating Spindle (to facilitate makeup/breakout) and its Pipe Hog triple-jaw wrenches (designed to precisely align pipe joints).
