Volvo CE Reports ActiveCare Uptime Gains

Volvo CE announced a nearly 100 percent enrollment increase in the ActiveCare Direct telematics service since fall 2018, along with a growing list of machine models eligible for the program and case alerts for improved machine monitoring. 

According to the company, only 1 percent of ActiveCare Direct monitored units ever become critical machine-down cases. The company also tracked an 85 percent improvement in resolution time for critical machine-down cases, along with 97 percent improvement in the time to reach a Volvo Uptime Support Specialist.

Volvo says the company is currently evaluating ways to show customers information on component life expectancy, and finding more machine data points that can be used to improve diagnostic times.
