Tecman Suspension Magnets

Crushing rock at quarries can cost operators downtime and bottom line profits, if a loader or bucket tooth gets into the crusher. As is often the case the cost for a magnet to prevent this problem, is less than the cost of the repairs, not to mention downtime, failure to be able to operate during repairs.  The simplest solution is a Permanent or Electro Stationary Suspension Magnet.

The Permanent Magnets have no moving parts to wear or break and are virtually indestructible, being moisture and dust proof.  These magnets are constructed using only the latest and most advanced magnetic materials in a computer designed magnet circuit for powerful strength.

All magnets are enclosed in a heavy duty stainless steel casing with all welded construction and are Warranted For Life against loss of magnetic strength, when used under normal operating conditions. All magnets furnished with eyebolts for suspension together with a set of adjustable suspension chains with turnbuckles and a slide tray or belt stripper, for easy and safe cleaning of the magnet face. Permanent Suspension Magnets are available for all conveyor widths from to 84" and material burdens depth from 1" to 16". Most sizes in-stock for immediate shipment.

For higher burden depths, faster than normal belt speeds or requirements for removal of heavier than normal tramp iron, an Electro Stationary Suspension Magnet is available. These magnets are available for conveyor widths to 84” and burden depths from 1” to 28”. Unlike most electro magnets, these do not have an external expansion oil tank, which can create condensation and potential for damage by improper use of wheeled equipment running into the magnet. Our expansion tank is internal eliminating these problems. The magnet coils and transformer oil are enclosed in a heavy duty stainless steel casing with all welded construction, with coils warranted for 10 years, twice the time granted by the closest competitor. All electro magnets furnished with NEMA 4 Junction Boxes, as well as eyebolts for suspension together with a set of adjustable suspension chains with turnbuckles. A matching NEMA 12 (other NEMA enclosures available as an option) Rectifier is available for converting the AC input power supply to the required Magnets’ DC output. Lead times for electro magnets for most popular sizes are 1-2 weeks.
