Frequency-hopping radio remote controls for the company's concrete pumps and conveyors use one of 127 frequencies for a short time before hopping to another frequency to avoid interference. A continuous signal travels between the transmitter and receiver to prevent loss of contact. Remotes have a 200MW to 1 watt output power and operate on a 900 MHz frequency band to cover long distances.
