At 14,500 pounds, the WB 142-5 is a new "entry-level" backhoe loader model from Komatsu that retains many design features of its big brother, the WB146-5. For operators, visibility to the front of the four-wheel-drive WB 142-5 is maximized via the steep slope angle of the engine hood, corner-mounted exhaust and front roof cutout. To the rear, a slim backhoe boom allows the operator to see the bucket edge.
