Kenosha County Selects Riley for Public Safety Building Addition, Renovation

Riley Construction Company has been awarded the construction management of the $15 million Kenosha County Public Safety Building addition and renovation project.

The project, located in the heart of downtown Kenosha, involves a three-story, 44,300 square foot addition to the existing facility. The addition will house an expanded Joint Services 911 dispatch center, the County Division of Information Systems and additional Kenosha Police Department space. The basement garage is also planned to be expanded to house additional vehicles. The renovation is anticipated to include modernizing the existing interior administrative space for the Kenosha Police Department and Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department.

The project will break ground this summer and is expected to be completed at the end of 2010. Milwaukee-based Zimmerman Architectural Studios is serving as the designer.
