Foxconn Created 854 Construction Jobs in 2018

Jan. 24, 2019

According to a report in The Daily Reporter, Foxconn created 854 construction jobs last year as it built its manufacturing plant in Wisconsin. Citing a letter from Foxconn's Louis Woo, the report said a 120,000-square-foot building had been completed.

Yet the report says the executive also said Foxconn missed hiring targets for the manufacturing center last year. Tax incentives from the state are tied to hiring, so the company will not seek any because of the shortfall.
