Paving bridge widths of 200 feet is no longer impossible with the Bid-Well 4800 automatic roller paver from Terex Roadbuilding, the company says. Truss frame and gussets are manufactured with a proprietary high-strength, low-weight steel that does not add weight to the machine. When paving beyond 150 feet, the new frame allows for configurations exceeding 200 feet.

Paving bridge widths of 200 feet is no longer impossible with the Bid-Well 4800 automatic roller paver from Terex Roadbuilding, the company says. Truss frame and gussets are manufactured with a proprietary high-strength, low-weight steel that does not add weight to the machine. When paving beyond 150 feet, the new frame allows for configurations exceeding 200 feet. Patented Rota-Vibe system delivers up to 5,000 vpm to reconsolidate the top 2 inches of concrete. Drive is supported by a dual-chain hanger system to prevent the chain from sagging and to reduce the load on the drive mechanism and sprockets. Estimated list price: $75,000 to $125,000, depending on configuration.
