Man crushed by 5,000-pound mixer drum.

Teofilo Gonzalez, 63, was crushed when a 5,000-pound concrete mixer drum fell on him while working at the Con-Tech Manufacturing plant in Dodge Center, Minnesota.

News reports said Gonzalez was cutting a crossbeam support on a dolly that was supporting the drum, citing the Dodge County Sheriff’s office. The dolly failed, and the drum fell on him. Co-workers used two forklifts to move the drum but were unable to resuscitate Gonzalez.
