ShoxxAccording the Shoxx, a proprietary process used in the manufacture of its X20 masonry saw blade (involving coating the diamond grains with titanium to increase grain retention), means that the blade “cuts twice as fast as a standard blade and lasts twice as long as a top-range blade.” The Shoxx X20 diamond blade has a 20-millimeter segment height and is designed to cut materials such as paving blocks, brick, granite, flagstone, natural stone and reinforced concrete. Blade vibration is limited, says Shoxx, by the trapezoidal shape of the blade segments and by a thick steel core.
