For on- and off-highway applications without RAM air, the DriveMaster Two-Speed Fan Drive alternates between low-speed operation and spring-actuated high-speed operation for precise, efficient temperature control. Under most operating conditions, low-speed operation keeps the engine cool enough. When additional cooling is required, the system spring actuates to drive the fan at full input speed.
