The Hamm Compaction Navigator (HCN) measures compaction and plots each measurement's location (using GPS-locating technology) on a digital site plan. A computer in the roller's cab stores all incoming data in a database. This computer also acts as an input device and display unit for the driver. It shows surfaces already compacted in a special color.
