Miller Electric Filtair 130 Fume Extractor

The Filtair 130 welding fume extractor from Miller Electric Mfg. is designed to capture particles down to 0.1 micron. This, says Miller, is compared to units on the market that only capture particles 0.4 microns and larger. About 90 percent of welding fumes are between 0.1 and 0.4 microns, the company says. Filtering up to 132 cubic feet per minute at a noise level of just 68.5 decibels, the Filtair 130 comes standard with an 8-foot collection hose; 17- and 34-foot hoses are available as options to attach to funnel or slotted nozzles or a fume extraction welding gun. The welding fume extraction device weighs 46 pounds and stands less than 2 feet tall.
