A construction worker was killed at a construction site in Chico, California, due to a reported concrete pumper explosion.
Police said they received a 911 call about an explosion and injury at a construction project off of Boeing Avenue, near Hiller Avenue, in northern Chico.
When emergency personnel arrived, Chico Police said they found an unresponsive man near a concrete pumping truck. They said the man sustained multiple fatal injuries as a result of an explosion caused by a clogged pipe from the truck.
