Xella Builds New Leadership Team In North America

Xella, manufacturer of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), has announced its new North American leadership team.

John Blackwelder has joined Xella as president-North American operations, bringing with him more than 13 years of experience in construction products management. Blackwelder will oversee all Xella operations, including construction, customer service, distribution, marketing, product development, and sales.

John Blackwelder has joined Xella as president-North American operations, bringing with him more than 13 years of experience in construction products management. Blackwelder will oversee all Xella operations, including construction, customer service, distribution, marketing, product development, and sales.

Also joining the leadership team are Robert Wagoner, construction services director; Chadwick Redwine, director of sales; and Elizabeth James, marketing manager.

Wagoner, a 20-year veteran of the construction industry, was promoted to construction services director and will manage the technical aspects of sales operations.

Redwine will develop sales strategies and supervise Xella's regional sales team. Redwine has more than 10 years of construction industry sales experience, serving as a sales representative and district sales manager for several brick manufacturers. In addition, he serves as a continuing education instructor for the American Institute of Architects.

James joins Xella's leadership team with accountability for North America's marketing strategy. Charged with development and execution of market segment plans and programs, James has 10 years of construction industry experience in positions of increasing responsibility with residential home builders, managing marketing functions throughout the southeast.

Xella's North American headquarters is in Atlanta, GA.
