A Wynn for Construction? Casino Project Could Create 10,000 Jobs

December 6, 2011

Steve Wynn, founder of Wynn Resorts, hopes to build a $1 billion casino resort in Foxborough, Mass., across from Gillette Stadium, home of Robert Kraft's New England Patriots. The low- to mid-rise resort would contain a hotel, music hall, convention center, dining and retail shops as well as a gambling center. The project would create about 10,000 construction jobs, but it needs approval from town voters.

According to an article in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Wynn would lease the land and he and Kraft would seek a local vote in three to four months.
