The Wisconsin Underground Contractors Association (WUCA) recently signed five-year labor agreements with three key unions whose members work for companies that are members of WUCA.

The signatory unions are Wisconsin Operators Local 139, Wisconsin Laborers District Council Local 113 and Teamsters Local 200.

Each of the agreements has been ratified by members of the respective union.

WUCA Executive Director Richard Wanta said, "Reaching these agreements was vital to continuous progress in the many infrastructure projects now under way in southeastern Wisconsin. These agreements will help millions of dollars of essential projects be bid and run smoothly for the next five years. That's good for everyone: the contractors, the workers and the municipalities that depend on the infrastructure."
