Emergency crews rescued two workers who were left dangling in safety harnesses after scaffolding fell from the side of a building in downtown Richmond, Va., reports CBS 6 News.
One worker was six feet over the roof’s edge. The other worker was 15 feet over the roof’s edge.
One man was treated at the scene and released. The other was taken to a nearby hospital to be evaluated. It appears that the workers were not injured, according to CBS 6 News.
OSHA is investigating what caused the scaffolding to fail.
