That Will Be $1 Billion More, Please

LaGuardia Airport redevelopment cost goes up - again

July 18, 2016

According to an agenda released by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Friday, the redevelopment of the Terminals C and D will cost $4 billion — $1 billion more than Gov. Andrew Cuomo has previously announced.

When ground broke at LGA's Terminal B in June, Cuomo said the project that will redevelop Terminals B, C and D would cost about $7 billion.  Delta Airlines is putting up $3 billion as they lease space in the terminals.

The Port Authority is set to vote on its contribution of $600 million on Thursday.
