Wacker Neuson reported a 8.6 percent increase in revenue in the third quarter of 2013 over the same period in 2012. As reported by World Highways, revenue reached €276.3 million ($372.1 million) in third-quarter 2013.
Earnings for the quarter totaled €41.2 million ($55.5 million), representing a 21 percent increase over the same period in 2012.
“We expect current positive business trends to continue into the coming weeks. Since currency trends dampened our revenue in the third quarter, however, we remain uncertain as to how further fluctuations in Q4 will impact the Group. That said, we still expect to achieve our forecast for the current year,” said Cem Peksaglam, CEO of Wacker Neuson SE, in a statement.
