Volvo Shows Off New Gearbox By Pulling 827 Tons of Dead Weight

To show off their new I-Shift with crawler gears dual-clutch gearbox, Volvo asked Magnus Samuelsson, former "World's Strongest Man" title holder, to drive their new Volvo FH16 truck.

The challenge? Samuelsson and Volvo's FH16 had to pull 40 container boxes placed on 20 truck trailers weighing a total of 827 tons, spanning 328 feet from front to tail.
