Volvo Construction Equipment, its public relations agency SE10 and its video partner Take One Productions have received the bronze award in the 34th annual Telly Awards for its online video series “Americas News Minute.”
Chosen out of almost 11,000 entries, “Americas News Minute” keeps Volvo employees and the public informed on the company’s events.
Topics range from community involvement to the opening of a new regional headquarters. The video series was a new communication tool implemented to engage employees in a different and time-efficient way.
“We are pleased to be recognized by others who see the value in these videos,” said Bill Law, Vice President of Corporate Communications at Volvo. “We wanted to develop something that gave employees across North America and Latin America information in an accessible, entertaining and efficient way. The Americas News Minutes are just that – short, snappy and packed with useful information.”
