Volvo Trucks VHD

Sept. 28, 2010

Volvo’s VHD vocational truck and tractor, formerly available only as a daycab, is now offered with a 42-inch-long sleeper compartment for operations where legal sleep must be accommodated. The sleeper has 118 cubic feet of space and comes with a full-length bunk and a privacy curtain, plus another curtain for the windshield. The cab and sleeper are integrated for maximum space and quietness, and the strong single-piece unit has passed the tough Swedish Road Board impact test. The structure is warranted for 72 months/750,000 miles or 15,000 operating hours.
